Our next guest is Danny Fahey, whose life experiences with urban culture, street life, music, fashion and sport have led him to be the Culture and Partnerships Director of Thirty Pound Gentleman (TPG). His uncompromising and unapologetic work with young creators has produced some very successful and original talents in the UK, most notably prolific musician and producer Chunky of Swamp 81, activist, musician and political editor for Dazed and Confused magazine, Gaika, and many other people in cultural spaces who have gained benefit from Danny’s guidance and hard knock style of tutoring. The professional timeline for Danny isn’t linear, and starts in London’s underground during the UK Garage explosion and UK Raps golden era, making his moniker a familiar name in the genesis of UK MC culture, paving the way for all of its commercial potential and future prospects.
Thirty Pound Gentleman delivers cultural and creative experiences and works with brands and companies that put them at the epicentre of subcultures and burgeoning scenes: activating, advocating, and curating with accuracy and honesty.
