What do you do?<\/strong><\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Artist Manager, Public Relations Specialist, Digital Marketing Specialist, A&amp;R as well as specialize in streaming<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>What are you listening to?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Millyz, Dave East, Kur, Marlon Craft, AR Paisley, Meek Mill, J.Cole, Yung Bleu, Sza, Kehlani, Kweku Collins, EXMiranda, as well as artists I represent who go by <a href=\"https:\/\/hiphopcanada.com\/victory-trendsetter-interview\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Victory<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/x10pk?lang=en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Patrik Kabongo<\/a>. It really just depends on the day and my mood<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>How do you discover new music?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Man, that&#8217;s a difficult question to answer in all honesty, I usually like to listen to the Breakfast club as well as listen to a lot of American Radio stations in different markets from New York, LA, Atlanta, Nashville and many more, just because I find it interesting how they&#8217;re always supporting new upcoming artists regardless of where they\u2019re from, which is a vast comparison to Canada. I usually find out what the next fad is or which artist is bubbling through both through a mix of radio as well social media (IG &amp; Facebook)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>What formats do you usually listen to? LP, CD, Cassette, Digital, Streaming Services? Why?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The last time I bought and listened to a hardcopy CD was when J.Cole released 2014 Forest Hills Drive, I ended up buying the last copy in my home town of Calgary. These days though I like to listen to full body projects on Spotify (my go to platform) just because I prefer a project over a single. I had the opportunity to attend Harris Institute for the Arts as an Arts Management student, during my first semester I got to listen to digital vs analog and personally I think Analog sounds cleaner than music in digital format<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-style-large is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>&#8220;I prefer a project over a single&#8221;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Where do you do most of your music listening?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>I usually like to listen to music on the go or while I&#8217;m sitting at home working or just hanging out with my partner, she listens to music more than me when I&#8217;m home.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>How do you find and listen to pre-release music?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>That&#8217;s a tough one but honestly, I tend to find pre-release music online on sites like Hypeddit, Hot New Hip Hop, Hip Hop Canada or on US and sometimes Canadian radio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>What are your frustrations with listening to music digitally? Any benefits?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>I would say my only complaint is the oversaturation of the same type of music on digital platforms, sometimes it feels like I either get much more than I anticipated with certain songs or it feels like there&#8217;s too many to choose from.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-style-large is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>I tend to find pre-release music online on sites like Hypeddit, Hot New Hip Hop, Hip Hop Canada or on US and sometimes Canadian radio.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>How do you keep track of everything you are listening to?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Spotify is my organizer to be completely honest, it keeps a record of what I last listen to as well as the type of music that I like to listen to, it makes my life a lot easier<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Do you tip other people off to new music? How?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Heck yes I do, I remember back in college I introduced my friend at the time to Young M.A before she became popular here in Toronto, I love finding artists before they pop, I&#8217;ve introduced my friends to artists like Machine Gun Kelly before he was big, just because I was a fan listening to his earlier bodies of work my personal favorite til this day being &#8220;100 Words and Running&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Anything you want to \u201cpromote\u201d?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Most definitely, I recently began managing an upcoming 19-Year-Old Singer-Songwriter from Calgary and she releases her single &#8220;Gone&#8221;&nbsp;on June 11th!
