I am the Founder & CEO of ClicknClear<\/a>. We are a music rights tech and licensing company delivering officially licensed music to performance sports and fitness worldwide. My role these days largely involves working with record labels and publishers to make their content available via our licensing platform, working with our tech team to build unique technology to solve our markets’ problems and working with sports federations and organisations to educate them about music rights and implement our licensing solution.<\/p>\n\n\n\n I listen to a wide range of music from what\u2019s on the charts to lesser-known artists I discover via Spotify or through gigs from industry events. I\u2019m a big fan of Ed Sheeran and the Singer-Songwriter style.<\/p>\n\n\n\n I largely discover music via Spotify. Usually, I put on a playlist or select a song I love and let Spotify play their recommendations to me. I dislike making decisions about what to listen to and prefer to set a mood or artist style and play the music that fits that and is similar. I also discover music by going to music industry events.<\/p>\n\n\n\n predominantly I listen to Streaming Services these days. I have a record player and occasionally turn that on. I don\u2019t remember the last time I played a CD or Cassette!! I mostly listen through my headphones but occasionally I\u2019ll use my studio monitors for non-work-related listening. I don\u2019t have much of an awesome stereo set-up yet. I\u2019d like to get something set up for the garden\u2026soon!<\/p>\n\n\n\n I don\u2019t tend to listen to pre-released music. ClicknClear does receive music ahead of its release date but I\u2019ve only occasionally gone to give it a cheeky listen when it\u2019s an artist I really love and follow. Otherwise, I\u2019ll just wait until it\u2019s available on Spotify.
