Sign up to Byta and share your audio files. It is as simple as uploading your audio, building your Share and clicking send.<\/span><\/p>\n

Signing up<\/h3>\n

Signup is simple: complete the required fields, click Create Account, and wait for the confirmation email. If you have not received the email within a few minutes, please check your spam. Once your email is confirmed, you will be directed to your share page to begin sending out your audio files.<\/p>\n

Uploading your audio<\/b><\/h3>\n

To start sharing with Byta, you will need to upload your audio. To do this visit your share page (or audio page on paid plans) and either drag and drop audio onto the page or click \u201cupload audio\u201d. Once your files have completed uploading, click through to edit your metadata.<\/span><\/p>\n

Byta reads and writes your audio file metadata; once you click through to the edit metadata page, you will see all available metadata and have the chance to be able to update and add any necessary information.<\/span><\/p>\n

Once this step is complete, you are ready to share!<\/span><\/p>\n

Sharing Audio<\/b><\/h3>\n

Byta offers 3 share types for all plans: Direct Links, Universal Links and Protected Links; you can read about those here<\/a>. Once your audio is uploaded, it is time to decide which share type suits your needs. Click the relevant tab at the top of the share page and fill out the necessary information below.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Byta\u2019s restrictions allow you to create more secure streaming experiences for your recipients and allow for better tracking for you as the sender. You can limit downloads and expiry dates (7 days or Free accounts, more options for paid plans<\/a>), and access (set as “require account” to only specified recipients to view).\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Byta allows you to post a 140 character message with all shares that will appear on the share receive page. If you are looking to have more information about your share, we recommend attaching a PDF using the attachment options.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Once your share is complete, review the details and create the share at the bottom of the page. Once your share has been processed it will either be mailed out to recipients (Direct Links) or your share link will be sent to you via email and can also be accessed on your Activity page.<\/span><\/p>\n
