What is the difference between Free and Paid Plans?

The Byta Free Plan has its limitations: there is no cloud storage with a Free Plan, sharing is limited to 5 recipients, Shares are automatically set to streaming plus 3 downloads, and your Share expires after 7 days.
Byta’s Paid Plans offer you cloud storage as well as advanced sharing options, like setting expiry and adding attachments (PDF/JPG/release date), advanced contact management and the flexibility of choosing one‑click watermarking for higher security.

Flexibility in choices when Sharing
Send any combination of single tracks, albums and playlists. Choose to share a stream and/or set the number of downloads. Set an expiry on your Share, plus for greater security choose to add one‑click watermarking. -
Simple to Receive
No one is required to sign up in order to receive audio files, but signing up for a Free Plan means receiving audio files directly to a personal account, saving time and staying better organized. -
Metadata Powered
No more sending or receiving unlabelled or incorrectly named tracks. All artist/track/album information and artwork is pulled directly from the available uploaded audio file’s metadata.

How easy is it to upgrade and downgrade?

Easy. Upgrades and downgrades are always confirmed in an email along with any upcoming payments.
Users can manage their subscriptions directly from their Account Page. When the time is right, easily upgrade from your Free Plan. Select your desired subscription, enter your payment details and you are automatically upgraded with your payment processed immediately. Upgrading to a new plan with any price difference will automatically be adjusted on your next invoice.
In between projects? To downgrade your plan just select Free on the Account Page then click update plan to confirm. You will be automatically downgraded at the period end.
