Create. Curate. Promote. Discover.
Create custom playlists using individual tracks already uploaded to your audio. You have control over track order and customisation.
Fast and secure audio sharing with more options using Playlisting. After building your playlist, you can also include an attachment with your share: a press release, photo or a third party link using Smart Attachments.
How It Works
Build a custom playlist from your audio
Customise playlist name and artwork
Share Anywhere
Playlisting is something we have been wanting to add to our Byta Features for a long time. It just makes sense. Artists can create custom playlists whilst labels, managers and PRs can share monthly roster highlights. The development team here has made it very easy to use!

Share Your Link
Once you complete your playlist you can now decide how to deliver your Share. Choose a Universal or Protected Link for a shareable link, or send it as a Direct Share, directly to your recipient's email.
Byta offers a higher level of security when sharing audio files and streams in a custom playlist.
For years the music industry has relied on “Music Promotion” or “Watermark Promotion Services” for private audio sharing of pre-release music to internal and external partners. Watermark* Promotion Services have never offered features as fast, flexible or secure as Byta does with Protected Links.
When used solely to send audio files, Generic File Services like Dropbox, WeTransfer, or Box contribute to disorganised desktops, missing information in iTunes/music libraries and hard drives filled with poorly labelled music files. Music sharing can quickly become chaotic and time-consuming.
Create a custom playlist to Share your audio files with your recipients. Upload lossy or lossless files. Byta supports FLAC, ALAC, AIFF, WAV, AAC and MP3 file formats. Uploaded audio files in a playlist are then received to stream as MP3s.
Byta is unrivalled in taking advantage of audio files' unique properties. You can use Byta as a metadata editor, as it can read and write audio file metadata, including ID3 tags and WAV tags. Byta converts file formats on the fly and delivers fast yet secure streaming when you need to share music.
Sharing audio files with Byta is fast, simple, and more secure than private SoundCloud links. Ideal when coordinating your pre-release music promotion.
Byta’s offers you a highly secure and simple alternative to using WeTransfer or any other type of link when you need private music streaming.
