Deleting your Byta Account

We appreciate that sometimes Byta will not be appropriate for your needs. As such, we allow you to delete your data from Byta permanently. The steps are simple and outlined below.

Before you leave

Before you delete your account, please consider moving to a free plan. Our free plan will only keep your files on our servers for 7 days. All active shares will be deleted after that period along with all the files.

Deleting your Byta account

1. Email us at receive@byta.com from your registered email
2. Set the title to “Delete Account”
3. We will email you to let you know your request has been accepted and will be processed within 48hours.

Once your request has been actioned you will be removed from all email communication, your files and data will be removed and you will no longer be able to log in to Byta.
