Activity – Delete & Archive Options

Byta offers simple yet powerful ways to control your shares once they have been sent. As senders, having the ability to revoke access to your shared audio allows you greater security controls. As recipients, managing your Activity page “inbox” means you can ensure you know who is sending you what audio.

Deleting

Delete entire Share

• Confirm the warning that all recipients’ links will expire.
• The sender will no longer see the Share on the Activity page.
• Recipients with an account will see an “expired” Share.
• Any non-account share links will now show as expired and will no longer be accessible.

Audio as part of multi-album or track share

Activity page delete

• Warning all recipients will no longer be able to access this audio.
• Upon deletion, the sender and recipients no longer can see the audio card as part of the share.
• all other parts of the share remain active.

Archiving

Users click the extended menu to archive any shares and select “archive”.  Archiving shares moves them from the main activity list, and as such, it will have no impact on the recipients. If you wish to restore the share to your main Activity list, reaccess the extended menu and select “restore”.
